Our weekend with the boys!

Last weekend we had the privilege of keeping our
nephews, Tristan and Zane. It was so much fun.
This is Courtney and the boys watching Hercules!

It's an 80's theme!

Friday night was the big dance at school. The theme 80's. Of course we knew just what it would take to pull it off. Shanna, Shelly and myself, we had the girls rockin' old school.
It was lot's of fun making their hair sky high. Of course now there is a whole in the ozone layer over Shanna's house!

The good from the ice storm

Back in January West Plains had one of the worse ice storms in our history. But always look for the good in every situation. David was clearing all the limbs that had fallen and burning them in a small outdoor fire pot. I looked outside and Courtney was roasting marshmallows, the tiny ones!!! Oh don't think Donut and Gracie didn't get in on the action. Before long I was out there with camera in hand and a roasting stick!!!

For those of you wondering..................I did not get outside and build a snowman. I got wrapped up in painting the bathroom. Yeah that didn't turn out quite like I expected! Who would have thought that the color prairie grass would be green???? Maybe the word grass in the name
should have been my clue! No worries though, it's just paint. It is kind of growing on me.
Getting it..............grass.................growing....................

March 1st

We have about 4 or 5 inches of snow in West Plains. It is a very heavy wet snow, so a snow man may be in order today. The roads got pretty slick last night so we will probably stay in today and just enjoy the AT HOME time. Been working on painting another room, the bathroom is under construction at this point. After that 1 room left but it is the big one. THE DINING/KITCHEN.............it will be quite a project.
